Ingredients:
1 cup(s) flour |
1/2 cup(s) shortening or butter |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 teaspoon(s) baking powder |
1 teaspoon(s) milk |
1 egg well beaten |
raspberry jam |
1 cup(s) brown sugar |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla |
butter, size of a walnut |
1 1/2 cup(s) coconut |
1/2 cup(s) chopped walnuts or pecans |
Directions:
1. Mix first six ingredients. Roll out to fit 9x12 pan. Spread with raspberry jam, as thick or thin as you wish. Mix all remaining ingredients well. Spread over jam. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. When cool, cut into bars. |
