By Alison Kent and The Canadian Living Test Kitchen. Rye and blueberries add a Canadian twist to this traditional Cuban cocktail. Garnish each glass with skewered blueberries and mint sprig. Canadian Living Magazine, July 2007. Ingredients:
6 mint leaves |
6 blueberries |
2 tablespoons lime juice |
1/2 cup lemonade |
1 1/2 ounces rye whiskey |
soda water |
Directions:
1. In cocktail shaker, combine mint leaves, blueberries and lime juice; muddle. Add lemonade and rye; top with ice cubes. Shake well. Strain into old-fashioned glass. Add splash of soda water. |
