A creamy pie that is a French tradition in northern Maine...Delicious!! Ingredients:
3/4 cup light brown sugar |
1/3 cup flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 cups milk |
3 egg yolks, beaten |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3 tablespoons butter |
Directions:
1. Mix in pan the first 3 ingredients and add the 2 cups milk and the 3 egg yolks, beaten/ Cook on medium heat until boiling. 2. Remove from heat and add vanilla and butter- pour into pre-baked crust. 3. Chill. |
