When we go camping this is one ofthe many breakfast items I serve up. Its a favorite. Ingredients:
1 lb. bacon |
1 onion, finely chopped |
1 green pepper, chopped |
1 lb. frozen hash browns |
1 doz. eggs |
salt and pepper, to taste |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Chop and fry bacon; drain and set aside. 2. Cook onion, green pepper and hash browns in 1/2 of bacon drippings, until done. 3. Stir up eggs; pour oiver potatoes, onions and green peppers. 4. Salt and pepper to taste. 5. Sprinkle bacon and cheese on top. 6. Cook over fire until eggs are set. 7. I also use the O'Brien Hash Brown Potatoes as they already have the onions and green peppers added to them. |
