Campbell's Vegetable Beef Soup |

2 -3 lbs stew meat |
1/4 cup butter |
3 quarts water |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 tablespoon salt |
1 1/2 cups chopped carrots |
3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed |
1 cup of chopped celery |
1/4 cup dried onion |
1/2 cup barley |
6 beef bouillon cubes |
Directions:
1. Brown the meat in butter. 2. Add all other ingredients. 3. Pressure cook this for 20 minutes. 4. Or you can simmer in a crock pot on low for several hours, or cook in a large pot on the stove over low heat for 2 to 3 hours. |
