Camie's Easy Peach Cobbler |

This is a simple cobbler that is great on a brunch menu or for dessert. Ingredients:
2 cups drained canned peaches, reserve liquid |
1/4 cup butter |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon allspice |
1/2 cup milk |
2 -4 tablespoons sugar |
Directions:
1. Pour peaches into a 9x9 pan. 2. Cream butter and sugar together. 3. Sift dry ingredients and add to butter mixture. 4. Stir in milk. 5. spread over peaches going to edge of pan. 6. sprinkle with 2-4 Tablespoons sugar. 7. Pour reserved liquid over top, just enough to make wet, if using syrup you may want to skip the sugar. 8. Bake 350 for 30-45 min or until golden. |
