                    Quick, easy and delicious shrimp that can be served over white rice or mofongo. Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                1 tablespoon olive oil  |  
                                                1/4 cup butter  |  
                                                1/2 green bell pepper, sliced  |  
                                                1 large onion, sliced  |  
                                                10 cloves garlic, pressed  |  
                                                1 pound fresh large shrimp, shelled and deveined  |  
                                                1/2 cup tomato sauce  |  
                                                1 tablespoon dried parsley  |  
                                                1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)  |  
                                                salt and ground black pepper to taste  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. Heat the olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the bell pepper and onion; cook and stir until the onion has softened and turned translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in the garlic, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute more. Add the shrimp and cook until opaque, about 2 minutes on each side. Stir in the tomato sauce, parsley, and red pepper flakes, and cook until tomato sauce is warmed through, about 5 minutes.
