California 1962 Hot Chicken Delight

This recipe was a favorite when visiting my Grandmother in western Michigan. She was given the recipe in 1962 by a neighbor returning from a vacation to the Golden State. Quick and tasty.
Ingredients:
3 cups diced cooked chicken
2 cups slivered almonds
1/4 cup chopped pimiento
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons grated onions
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 package frozen baby english pea, cooked
1 cup crushed potato chip
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Mix first nine ingredients together.
2. Pour into a buttered casserole dish.
3. Top with potato chips and grated cheese.
4. Bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees F.
