Crunchy cabbage slaw with apples, peppers, and carrots. Ingredients:
1 medium head green cabbage, shredded |
3 carrots, shredded |
1 green bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced |
1 red bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced |
1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced |
1 red delicious apple, cored and chopped |
1 golden delicious apple, cored and chopped |
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar |
2 tablespoons white sugar |
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt |
ground black pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. Toss the cabbage, carrots, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, Red Delicious apple, and Golden Delicious apple together in a large bowl. 2. Whisk the apple cider vinegar, sugar, and sea salt together in a small bowl; season with black pepper. Pour the vinegar mixture over the cabbage mixture and gently toss to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 30 minutes. |
