Very prerry coleslaw Ingredients:
2 cups apples, unpeeled and chopped |
2 tablespoons tangerine peel, grated |
3 cups tangerines, peeled and segmented, seeded |
2 tablespoons green bell peppers, chopped |
5 cups cabbage, finely shredded |
12 calendula flowers, washed and dried |
1/3 cup sour cream |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
2 tablespoons honey |
1/2 teaspoon mustard |
1/2 teaspoon celery seed |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon ground pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine apple, tangerine peel, tangerine segments and chopped green pepper with cabbage in a large bowl. 2. Remove petals from flowers and add petals to the salad. 3. Blend together remaining ingredients and pour over coleslaw. 4. Toss lightly to mix well. 5. Chill thoroughly. |
