Do you decorate cakes? I did for a business many years ago. This is a recipe that a friend gave me a long time ago and I used it for many years. You will need to double this for a regular sized cake-one to frost it and one to decorate with. The consistency is wonderful to work with. Ingredients:
1 (1 lb) box confectioners' sugar |
1 cup crisco |
1 egg white |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Mix all together in a mixing bowl. 2. Beat for 15 minutes and it will be ready to use. 3. NOTE: The egg white does not have to be beaten first as it will all blend in together. |
