This shrimp reminds me of a shrimp dish I had down in New Orleans years ago. I make these as appetizers when entertaining and can never make enough!! I prefer using 6-8 count size. Ingredients:
5 -6 large uncooked shrimp |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
1 tablespoon louisiana hot sauce or 1 tablespoon frank's red hot sauce |
2 garlic cloves, pressed |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley |
1 pinch dried rosemary |
lemon wedge |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 2. Shell & devein the shrimp. 3. In a small baking dish, combine the melted butter with the hot sauce, garlic, salt, cracked pepper, parsley and rosemary. Stir. 4. Arrange the shrimp side by side in the baking dish with the sauce and bake for 6-8 minutes. Immediately broil the shrimp for 2 to 4 minutes or until the shrimp are done, but not chewy. Squeeze some lemon juice over the shrimp. Serve the shrimp sizzling hot in the baking dish. |
