You can use this in place of salt when cooking fish, chicken, beef, pork. Just experiment with it. This will put some kick in your main dishes. Ingredients:
1/4 cup salt |
2 tablespoons cayenne pepper |
2 tablespoons paprika |
1 1/2 tablespoons onion powder |
1 tablespoon ground black pepper |
1 tablespoon white pepper |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
2 teaspoons dried basil |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme |
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard |
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a small jar. (The spice can be stored in a tightly covered glass jar in a cool dry place out of direct light for up to 4 months.) 2. Makes about 3/4 cup. |
