2 cups uncle ben's converted brand rice (uncooked) |
1/2 cup butter |
1/16 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1/2 cup parsley, chopped |
2 bay leaves |
2 lbs smoked sausage |
1 green pepper, chopped |
6 shallots, chopped |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can french onion soup |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can beef broth |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 (8 ounce) can water (use tomato can) |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients into a covered dish and either bake at 375 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or into a crock pot for6-8 hours on low. |
