CAJUN MUSHROOMS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Webb Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1987. Ingredients:
1 cup crab meat |
1 tablespoon bread crumbs |
1 tablespoon minced onions |
1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese |
1 tablespoon salt |
2 tablespoons minced parsley |
12 mushroom stems finely chopped |
12 mushroom caps |
1 egg beaten |
1 teaspoon hot sauce |
Directions:
1. Mix crab meat, bread crumbs, onions, cheese, salt, parsley and chopped mushroom stems. 2. Add beaten egg and hot sauce then stuff mixture into mushroom caps. 3. Bake at 300 for 30 minutes then serve hot. |
