Slice the steak with your sharpest knife on a cutting board that has a well around the edges to collect the flavorful juices; spoon them over the steak. Bake thick-cut fries to serve on the side. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
1 tablespoon onion powder |
2 teaspoons sugar |
2 teaspoons paprika |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper |
1 pound flank steak, trimmed |
cooking spray |
Directions:
1. Combine first 8 ingredients in small bowl. Rub spice mixture over both sides of steak. 2. Heat a large nonstick grill pan coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Add steak, and cook 5 minutes on each side. Cut steak diagonally across grain into thin slices. |
