Most people tell me this is pretty darn close to Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning. I got this recipe from a great lady who put it on EVERYTHING!! I think this might be how she lived to be 103!!! Ingredients:
3 cups salt |
2 ounces black pepper |
2 ounces ground red pepper |
2 ounces pure garlic powder |
2 ounces chili powder |
1 ounce msg (accent) |
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients together and mix well. 2. Store in airtight container. 3. Use as you would salt in your dish. 4. Makes a pretty gift in a decorative bottle. |
