This dish is great for those warm winter days.. My family loves this ..Some times I serve with rolls. or corn bread.. Really great recipe. Ingredients:
1 stick margarine 2 tbsp flour |
1 chopped onion |
1 pound crawfish |
1 quart milk or cream |
2 cans cream corn |
1 can whole kernel corn |
1 can cream of potato soup |
1 small bell pepper chopped fine |
2 pods of garlic chopped fine |
1/2 cup chopped parsley |
1/2 cup green onion |
optional: 1/2 can of rotel tomatos |
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan over low heat blend together the margarine and flour. 2. Add the onions, bell pepper, and garlic. 3. Optional: I like to use 1/2 can of Rotel Tomato 4. Cook until veggies are tender. 5. Add corn, milk, potato soup and blend well. 6. Add pepper to taste 7. Add crawfish. 8. Cook for 40 minutes over medium heat stirring to prevent scorching. 9. Add the parsley and green onions and cook for 5 minutes more. 10. Serve and enjoy. |
