This a simple and easy recipe to make! Great for tailgating! Enjoy! :) Ingredients:
5 pounds raw peanuts, in shells |
1 (6 ounce) package dry crab boil |
1 (4 ounce) can sliced jalapeno peppers, with liquid |
Directions:
1. Place peanuts in a slow cooker. 2. Sprinkle with dry crab boil. 3. Cover with water. 4. Stir in sliced jalapeno peppers and their liquid. 5. Cover the slow cooker, and cook the nuts on low 8 hours, or overnight, until nuts float to the top of the water. 6. Add additional water during cooking, if necessary, to keep nuts covered. 7. I like to serve it hot. 8. ***Remove from heat and drain nuts after cooking or they will absorb too much salt from the cooking process***. |
