For a shortcut, replace the first 8 ingredients with about 2 tablespoons of Cajun or Creole seasoning blend. Ingredients:
2 teaspoons garlic powder |
2 teaspoons paprika |
1 teaspoon onion powder |
1 teaspoon dried thyme |
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
1 1/2 pounds peeled and deveined large shrimp |

Directions:
1. Prepare grill. 2. Combine first 8 ingredients in a large zip-top plastic bag. Add shrimp. Seal bag; shake to coat. Let stand 5 minutes. 3. Remove shrimp from bag; discard seasoning mixture.
