A latte in cookie form :P Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/3 cup butter, room temperature |
1 large egg |
1 tablespoon milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 tablespoons instant coffee powder |
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon baking powder |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars. Beat in egg, milk and vanilla. 3. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, coffee powder, cinnamon, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Stir the flour mixture into butter mixture. 4. Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls, forming 1-inch in diameter mounds, on the baking sheet. 5. Bake until cookie are golden at the edges, about 8-11 minutes. 6. Cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. |
