Attention Coffee Lovers: Serve this creamy nut-studded coffee ice cream with a fresh pot of hot java. Ingredients:
1/2 cup very hot tap water |
4 teaspoons instant coffee crystals |
2 cups whipping cream, whipped |
1 (300 ml) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk |
1/4 teaspoon almond extract |
1/2 cup toasted pecans or 1/2 cup almonds, chopped |
Directions:
1. In large bowl, stir together water and coffee until dissolved. Cool to room temperature. 2. Stir in sweetened condensed milk and almond extract. Gently fold in whipped cream and nuts. 3. Pour into an 8 square baking pan or 9 x 5 loaf pan. Cover and freeze until firm, about 8 hours. |
