Refreshing dish that usually takes place of a plate of salad. Very refreshing on hot summer days. Can be used as an appetizer or as a dip. Ingredients:
2 cups plain yogurt |
1 cup cold water |
3 medium cucumbers, peeled and diced very small |
2 cloves garlic, diced very small |
salt |
2 tablespoons ground and dried mint |
2 tabelspoons fresh dill sliced |
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil |
4-6 servings |
10 minutes prep |
Directions:
1. 1. Place yoghurt in a large bowl.and stir with fork well . 2. Add water until required consistency is achieved. 3. 2. Add all other ingredients, ,and mix thoroughly with fork . 4. 4. Stir in some salt, taste and add more if required. 5. serve with bulgur pilaf ,sis kebab,rice pilaf or alone .. |
