Lovely side dish Ingredients:
1 medium head cabbage, cut into wedges with core removed |
1 stick butter, softened |
1/2 cup chives, finely chopped |
1/4 cup scallions, finely chopped |
1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped |
1 tbls. lemon juice |
1/2 tsp. thyme, dried |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Put cabbage into dutch oven with water and bring to boil 2. Reduce heat, cover and cook 8-10 minutes until tender 3. In mixing bowl, combine rest of ingredients except salt and pepper 4. Drain cabbage and put into large bowl 5. Add herb butter and blend until cabbage is all coated 6. Salt and pepper to taste |
