Cabbage with Green Onions and Caraway |

Serve with corned beef or pork chops. Ingredients:
6 cups thinly sliced green cabbage (about 1 1/2 pounds) |
1 cup finely chopped peeled cucumber |
1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions |
2 tablespoons water |
1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon black pepper |
1/4 cup dry vermouth or dry white wine |
Directions:
1. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add first 7 ingredients. Cover and cook 10 minutes or until cabbage wilts, stirring occasionally. Add vermouth; cook 2 minutes. |
