Cabbage, veggie, and pork soup that is full flavored, filling and low in calories, fat, cholesterol, carbs with moderate protein and fiber. Ingredients:
1 head, large (about 7 dia) cabbage |
1 3/4 cup whole kernel sweet corn |
1 3/4 cup beans, kidney, red, mature seeds, canned |
1 3/4 cup cut green beans |
1 3/4 cup diced tomatoes in tomato juice |
2 2/5 serving sausage |
1 medium (2-1/2 dia) onions |
4 cup chicken broth |
8 medium carrots |
10 stalk, small (5 long) celery |
1/2 medium (approx 2-3/4 long, 2-1/2 dia) peppers, sweet, green |
6 tsp cajun seasoning |
3 tsp garlic powder |
3 tsp onion powder |
3 teaspoon basil |
Directions:
1. Cut up, put in pot 1/2 full of water, put in liquid bullion and canned veggies with liquid, put in spices, put in meat, bring to boil and high simmer for 1 hour, low simmer for 30 minutes. Makes 25 cups |
