This is a side dish Ingredients:
cabbage - 1/4 kg |
onion - 1 |
coconut grated - 2-3 tbsp |
green chillies - 2 |
tumeric powder - a pinch |
mustard - 1 tsp |
salt to taste |
coconut oil |
Directions:
1. Clean and chop the cabbage finely. 2. Chop the onions into very finely. 3. Cut Green Chillies lengthwise into two. 4. Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds to splutter. Then add finely chopped cababge and onions. Add green chillies and tumeric and stir fry on low flame, keeping the pan closed. Sprinkle some water if need. Once done add coconut and curry leaves and mix well. Hoolaa... simple cabbage stir fry is ready. If you like you can cooked green peas, you can also add eggs if you like. |
