Healthy Cabbage Soup that has lots of flavor and is a great way to get all of your veggies! Ingredients:
4 cans chicken broth |
2 cups water |
4 stalks celery, chopped |
6 carrots, chopped |
1 onion, chopped |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
5 mushrooms, sliced |
1 head cabbage, shredded |
1/2 cup barley |
2 cups diced ham |
1 tablespoon dried parsley |
1/2 tsp black pepper |
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper |
1 dash salt |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. |
