Cabbage Salad (Overnight) |

A no mayo cabbage slaw, I use the package of pre-shredded slaw with carrots, this really makes this easy. Ingredients:
1 medium cabbage, shredded |
1/2 green pepper, chopped |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 cup cider vinegar |
3/4 cup vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 teaspoon celery seed |
1 teaspoon sugar |
Directions:
1. Dump slaw in bowl, add chopped green pepper. 2. Sprinlke with 3/4 cup sugar. 3. Combine remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. 4. Pour over slaw mix. 5. Don't stir. 6. Cover and refrigerate overnight. 7. Stir and serve. |
