CABBAGE SALAD This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Butler Estate in Irving, Texas in 1988. Ingredients:
1 cup finely shredded green cabbage |
1 carrot shredded |
1 cup finely shredded red cabbage |
1/2 cup thinly sliced celery |
sunflower seeds |
dressing |
3/4 cup red wine vinegar |
1/4 cup vegetable oil |
2 teaspoons honey |
Directions:
1. Toss cabbage in finely sliced or shredded strips, carrot and celery. 2. Combine all dressing ingredients then toss cabbage in dressing. 3. Garnish with sunflower seeds. |
