This recipe has been made in my family for generations. We like to serve it with mashed potatoes, but rice is good too! Ingredients:
1 pound ground pork |
1 cup uncooked white rice |
1 clove garlic, chopped |
1 onion, chopped |
1 medium head cabbage |
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed tomato soup |
2 (10.75 ounce) cans water |
Directions:
1. Mix together ground pork, rice, garlic and onion. Take a leaf of cabbage and put meat in the center. Tuck in sides and roll up, secure with a toothpick. 2. Place tomato soup in a pot along with water. Place cabbage rolls in pot and boil lightly for at least 1 1/2 hours or until cooked through. Sauce will thicken as it cooks. |
