A fantastic cabbage recipe. I have not made this but had it at a friend's house lst weekend and had to ask for the recipe. It is very good and very easy to make. Double plus. Serve with confidence. Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups cabbage grated |
1 teaspoon coriander seeds |
1 tablespoon tamarind paste |
4 green chilies |
1 teaspoon cumin seeds |
1 cup coriander leaves |
few curry leaves |
2 tablespoons oil |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a small skillet on low heat and when oil is hot add green Chile and coriander seeds. 2. Fry until green chilies split and then remove them from skillet. 3. In remaining oil left in skillet add grated cabbage and salt then cover and cook 5 minutes. 4. Remove cabbage from skillet and let cool. 5. In processor add cabbage, Chile, coriander, tamarind paste, cumin, coriander and curry leaves. 6. Process 3 minutes then serve immediately. |
