This is a recipe from Saturday Evening Post. Try it. Ingredients:
3 -4 cups shredded cabbage |
3 tablespoons butter |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon caraway seed |
1/4 teaspoon white pepper |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1/2 pint sour cream |
Directions:
1. Boil the cabbage in a pot of boiling salted water for about 6 minutes or until just tender. Drain. 2. Toss with the butter, salt, seeds and seasonings until well mixed. 3. Reheat in the empty pot and just before serving stir in the sour cream. |
