Comfort and Simple in the same sentence it must be good. Ingredients:
1 lb shredded cabbage |
3/4 lb lean ground beef (do not brown) |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 medium onion, finely chopped |
1 cup long grain rice |
28 ounces chunky spaghetti sauce with mushrooms |
1/2 cup water |
1/4 teaspoon crushed basil |
1/4 teaspoon mrs. dash seasoning mix |
Directions:
1. Place 1/2 cabbage into crockpot, crumble beef over the top sprinkle with salt and pepper. 2. Evenly sprinkle rice and onion over top. 3. Top with cabbage and pepper. 4. Combine spaghetti sauce, water and remaining spices. 5. Pour over cabbage. 6. Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours or until rice is tender. |
