I tried this salad when I went on holiday and tried it at home. Ingredients:
2 cups cabbage, shredded |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1 cup walnuts, chopped |
4 whole walnuts |
1 small lettuce |
1 chopped onion |
Directions:
1. Choose a hard white cabbage and shred finely. 2. Soak in cold water for 1/2 hour. 3. Drain and mix with the onions and nuts and stir in mayo. 4. Serve with lettuce and place half a nut on each portion. |
