1. Grease 9-inch square pan.
2. Melt margarine in a saucepan.
3. Remove from heat.
4. Add sugars and water.
5. Blend.
6. Stir in flour and baking powder.
7. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well.
8. Add nuts, coconut, and chocolate pieces, and stir lightly to combine.
9. Pour into prepared pan.
10. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.
11. Cool in pan.
12. Cut into bars and serve.
