A quick breakfast dish that can also be quite healthy, or if you want to live life on the edge, fry your bread in a little olive oil. Ingredients:
2 eggs |
4 slices of bread |
one tin of baked beans |
2 table spoons of olive oil |
cayenne pepper |
Directions:
1. heat frying pan 2. put in 1 table spoon of olive oil 3. place 2 pieces of bread in pan and cook until golden brown 4. put bread on a plate and repeat 5. open tin of beans and empty into the hot pan you have just cooked in 6. stir beans until they are warmed through 7. add a pinch or 2 of cayenne pepper 8. crack 2 eggs into the beans and stir quickly 9. turn heat off and keep stirring until there is an even colour throughout 10. spoon onto each slice of bread 11. and serve with hot sweet black tea |
