This is a very popular and requested restaurant dish in Tampico, Mexico. Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter |
2 tablespoons finely chopped onions |
2 lbs cooked shelled crab, shredded |
1 1/4 cups manchego cheese or 1 1/4 cups gouda cheese, grated |
1/2 cup cream cheese |
1/2 cup dry white wine |
salt, to taste |
pepper (optional) |
Directions:
1. In melted butter, sautee onion until transparent. 2. Add rest of the ingredients and cook until cheeses melt. 3. Season to taste. |
