A simple sauce that is wonderful warm served over ice cream. Ingredients:
1/2 cup light corn syrup |
4 tablespoons sweet butter |
1/2 cup heavy cream |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients except for the vanilla in a heavy saucepan. Stirring constantly, bring the sauce to a boil over high heat. 2. Boil for 5 minutes from the time it starts to bubble at a full rolling boil. 3. Remove from the heat. 4. Add the vanilla. 5. Let cool slightly and serve warm. |
