This recipe makes 2 pies. You be the judge on cook time. Ingredients:
2 c. brown sugar |
4 heaping tbsps. flour |
4 egg yolks |
2 c. of milk & cream mixed |
1/2 c. butter |
1 tsp. vanilla |
Directions:
1. Mix sugar and flour then add milk, beaten egg yolks, vanilla and butter. 2. Cook over medium heat until thick. 3. Must be stirred constantly to keep from sticking. 4. Use whites of eggs for meringue. 5. Makes 2 pies. |
