Cookies cookies cookies for the cookie monster, and that would be me along with just about everyone! But this is for the Butterscotch Cookie Monster who has been deprived for all too long, enjoy! Ingredients:
1 c. butter |
2 well beaten eggs |
4 c. flour (judge) |
1 tsp. baking soda |
1 tsp. cream of tartar |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1/4 lb. pecans, chopped fine |
2 c. dark brown sugar |
1 tsp. maple flavoring |
Directions:
1. Cream butter, brown sugar, add beaten eggs and maple flavoring, add dry ingredients and pecans.
2. Shape into square rolls - put in freezer until firm. slice and bake at 350 degrees.
3. *a golden brown color denotes it done.
