Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened |
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1 egg |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
cinnamon filling |
1 (6-ounce) package butterscotch morsels |
3/4 cup mixed candied fruit |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts |
Directions:
1. Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add egg and vanilla, beating until smooth. Combine flour, soda, and salt; stir into creamed mixture. Spread evenly in a lightly greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes. 2. Spread filling evenly over crust. Combine remaining ingredients; sprinkle over filling. Bake at 350° an additional 15 minutes. Cool and cut into 2- inch squares. |
