This recipe is a bit different than the other butterscotch cake recipes on . It uses sour cream as a moist, tangy addition to this very easy rich cake. Ingredients:
18 1/2 ounces yellow cake mix |
3 1/2 ounces instant butterscotch pudding mix |
4 eggs, beaten |
1/2 cup vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 cup sour cream |
11 ounces butterscotch chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Grease and flour 12 cup bundt pan, I use Bakers Joy. 3. Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, vanilla extract, and sour cream in a bowl. 4. Mix with electric mixer for 3 minutes. 5. Fold in butterscotch chips. 6. Pour batter into prepared bundt pan. 7. Bake for 55 minutes. 8. I dust this delicious cake with confectioners sugar. |
