This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Harrelson Estate in Detroit, Michigan in 1984. Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
1/2 cup coconut |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in saucepan then stir in brown sugar and cool. 2. Add well beaten egg and vanilla. 3. Mix and sift dry ingredients then stir into butter mixture. 4. Add chopped nuts and coconut. 5. Bake in small cake pan at 350 for 20 minutes. |
