3/4 cup flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 cup butter |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 egg, beaten slightly |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
Directions:
1. Stir flour and baking powder together. 2. Melt butter and brown sugar over low heat. 3. Stir in slightly beaten egg. 4. Blend in dry ingredients, mixing well. 5. Add vanilla and nuts. 6. Bake in greased and floured 8 square pan at 300 for 25-35 minutes. 7. Cut while warm. |
