These are a heavenly treat for those sweet-tooth cravings.
Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour, sifted
6 t butter, melted
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 t vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup butterscotch morsels
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Coat an 8-inch square pan with cooking spray.
3. Sift the flour into a medium-sized bowl.
4. Add baking powder, baking soda and salt to the flour, mixing well.
5. In a large bowl, add brown sugar to melted butter and mix well. Then add egg and vanilla extract. Mix well.
6. Add flour mixture, a little at a time, until mixed thoroughly.
7. Stir in the butterscotch morsels and the chocolate chips. Spread out dough in an 8-inch square pan.
8. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Use a toothpick or fork to test if it is cooked in the center.
