My Great Grandmother used to make these for my pop before they both died and it has been passed down so I grew up on them and now my kids love them as much as I do Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar |
2 1/2 cups self-raising flour |
1 cup softened butter |
2 teaspoons vanilla essence |
2 tablespoons golden syrup |
Directions:
1. PreHeat oven to 160 degrees. 2. Combine all ingredients. 3. Roll into small balls on a greased flat tray 4. Using a fork flatten them slightly. |
