From a Nestle ad. Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
2 egg yolks |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1 cup quick-cooking oats |
1 cup finely chopped walnuts, divided |
1/2 cup flaked coconut |
1 (12 ounce) package nestle butterscotch chips |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, combine butter, sugar and brown sugar; beat until creamy. Add egg yolks and vanilla; beat well. Gradually blend in flour. Stir in oats, 1/2 cup nuts and coconut. Spread into a lightly greased 15 x 10 inch pan. Bake for 20 minutes. 2. Cool. Melt over hot (not boiling) water (or microwave) butterscotch chips; remove from heat. Spread evenly over cookie layer. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup nuts. Chill for 10 minutes. Cut into 2 inch x 1 inch bars. |
