Butterscotch Applesauce Cake

This is a different kind of apple cake.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup applesauce
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup raisins
2 cups (12 ounces) butterscotch chips
1/3 cup sugar
3/4 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar.
2. Add eggs and applesauce; mix well.
3. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; add to creamed mixture.
4. Stir in raisins.
5. Spread in a greased 13-in.X9-in.x2-in. baking pan.
6. Sprinkle with chips, sugar and pecans.
7. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
8. Yield: 12-15 servings.
