Our favorite buttermilk waffle recipe! If you want to keep waffles warm while you're cooking them you can put them in a 200-degree oven. Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour |
1 tbs baking power |
1 tbs sugar |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp baking soda |
3 large eggs, well beaten |
4 tbs unsalted butter, melted |
1 1/2 cups buttermilk |
Directions:
1. Preheat your waffle iron. 2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl. 3. In another bowl whisk together eggs, butter, and buttermilk. 4. Pour web ingredients into the center of the dry ingredients and gently whisk together. 5. Spoon 1/3 to 1/2 cup batter (depending on your waffle iron) onto the hot waffle iron and cook until golden brown. |
